Account and contact data when you sign up, request a demo, or contact us: name, work email, company, role, country, message content.

Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and consent state. This is collected only with your consent for non-essential analytics.

Form submissions via our contact and newsletter pages, processed via HubSpot.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data and we do not sell personal data.

Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1); POPIA s.11(1)(a)) for non-essential cookies, marketing, and newsletter communications.

Contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) when you sign up for or use our services.

Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for product security, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics where consent is not required.

Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)) for tax, accounting, and lawful requests.

Consent records: 180 days from your last choice.

Customer account data: for the duration of the contract plus statutory retention periods (typically 10 years for invoicing data in the EU).

Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Web analytics: aggregated and anonymised; raw event data retained up to 14 months.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. KVKK rights under Art. 11 apply for visitors in Türkiye. POPIA rights apply for visitors in South Africa, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Personal data may be processed in the EEA, the UK, the US, and Türkiye depending on the service provider. Where data leaves your jurisdiction, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or your explicit consent as appropriate.

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs, and least-privilege access. Production data resides in EU regions.

solarVis is a B2B service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 (or the equivalent local age of digital consent).

We will post material changes on this page and, where required, ask for renewed consent. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
